Description:

We are seeking three Senior Advanced Clinical Practitioner to work within Mental Health Urgent Care Division.
We have positions within our Mid Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Service and First Response service across the Merseycare footprint.
The post holders will be based in one of the below sites but will be expected to cross cover when required;

Harry Blackman House, Peasley Cross
Hollins Park Hospital
The post holder is required to deliver an advanced level of clinical practice within their recognised remit as well as working closely within the leadership team. The post holder will be delivering leadership across CRHT/ FRS.
The post holder will lead on quality initiatives ensuring the service is always CQC compliant and ready.
You must be a practicing Advance Nurse Practitioner at Band 7 or above. This post is not suitable to those still completing their Advanced Practice training.
Working within the local and nationally agreed frameworks the Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP), will exercise independent judgment to assess, investigate, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the clinical care and management of service users with undifferentiated diagnosis.
The post holder will provide the team with advanced clinical leadership, having undergone training to meet all academic and core clinical requirements (4 pillars of advanced practice) relevant to the role.
The Senior AP’s reporting lines will be via the team. They will work alongside and support the education and development of trainee APs and the wider MDT within the team. The Senior AP will have key working relationships with all members of the nursing, medical and multi disciplinary teams, trust management teams and wider partners.
The Senior AP will practice in partnership with the multidisciplinary team with the support of the Clinical Director and GMP’s. The Senior AP will provide visible and consistent leadership within the service and act as a key member of the leadership team. They will ensure high quality clinical care for a cohort of patients and be an ambassador for Mersey Care at all times.
