In this role you will engage multi-residential, commercial, and municipal customers to promote and sell our portfolio of renewable and low carbon energy solutions.

Here’s what you will do:

  • Responsible for meeting and exceeding assigned sales targets supporting the team’s overall objectives.
  • Drive sales results by developing business cases, creating compelling sales presentations, and positioning Enbridge Sustain as a valued partner in installing low carbon and renewable energy solutions.
  • Establishing and forming relationships with multi-residential, commercial, and municipal customers at all levels in their organizations.
  • Develop, update, and implement annual sales plans for assigned segments and customers.
  • Provide accurate and timely market outlooks and forecasts through the utilization of Enbridge Sustain’ s CRM system by updating sales opportunities as they develop and progress through to competition.
  • Support the overall business by providing market intelligence, industry, and customer trends, purchasing behaviors and other relevant information to help inform product positioning and go to market strategies.
  • Represent Enbridge Sustain at external events such as conferences, symposiums, and trade shows.
  • Work with external customers, trade allies and at industry events to promote Enbridge Sustains product offers with the goal of building sales opportunities.

Who you are:

  • A bachelor’s degree (preferably in Business, Marketing, or Engineering) and 6+ years of directly related experience in B2B Sales and Customer Strategy.
  • Strong understanding of multi-residential, commercial, and municipal markets.
  • Customer and result focused.
  • Strong ability to be innovative, strategic, and initiate change.
  • Work independently, highly organized and ability to lead multiple priorities.
  • Negotiation experience with external parties.
  • Excellent interpersonal, and strong communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Strong team skills for working with various functional areas, external vendors, and various support areas.
  • MBA, membership in P. Eng of Ontario or similar organization will be preferred.

Working Conditions:

  • Travelling including overnight, mainly within Ontario is required. A valid Ontario G class driver’s license and maintenance of a responsible driving record is required.
  • Regular visits to customer facilities and job sites to assess energy efficiency opportunities on weekly basis.
