    Commercial & Personal Injury Insurance (CPI) covers Commercial, CTP, Workers’ Insurance and Claims Contracts products. The CTP products operate within a regulated environment. Our CTP products operate across all open schemes and are distributed under AAMI, APIA, GIO, Shannons, and Suncorp brands. As Australia’s largest Statutory insurer, we aspire to be the leading personal injury insurer across all schemes and markets nationally.
    The purpose of this role is to drive the performance of the CTP schemes. The key objective is to maximise performance and profitability of the CTP schemes. The role is required to understand the information and analytical needs of key stakeholders in the business, then collaborate with relevant team members leverage data resources to address the defined requirement.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 5 years Insurance industry experience mandatory together with relevant tertiary qualifications
  • Knowledge of relevant General Insurance practices and policies
  • Ability to convey and explain information, coherently and confidently both verbally and in writing
  • Committed to delivering a quality, differentiated experience to all customers
  • Ability to make commercial decisions in line with delegated authority.

Responsibilities:

  • Quality and on time delivery, analysis and challenge of monthly and quarterly management reporting
  • Delivery of innovative solutions to information and reporting needs raised by stakeholders
  • Analysis of performance and operational drivers behind GWP, claims and expenses and assess the impact on the financial results
  • Analysis of how changes in actuarial assumptions impact financial results and how these changes affect budget / forecast expectations
  • Creation of operational and performance targets behind GWP, claims and expenses with communication and agreement with business leads
  • Effective working relationships with key stakeholders in the Personal Injury Insurance Business, CFO and key stakeholders across Suncorp.
