Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Senior Advisor, ESG reporting to the ESG Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the integration of Environment, Social and Governance thinking as well as climate change considerations into everyday decision making across Thiess Group. Through the provision of strategic, governance and technical support you will foster collaboration and drive an increased awareness of ESG issues both internally and externally.
- Demonstrate ESG Leadership behaviours at all times and champion a high standard across the business
- Maintain in depth knowledge of emerging trends and standard and legislative changes in ESG and the climate change space and share knowledge with relevant subject matter experts
- Coordinate the ESG Working Group for the Thiess Group and the development of ESG and climate training and awareness plans
- Lead key ESG initiatives and reporting requirements for the business and provide support to our functions and regions in meeting their annual business plan ESG and climate commitments
