Description:
DESCRIPTION:
ConsMin produces some of the world’s highest grade manganese ore and is considered a world leader in manganese mining. Our ConsMin Australian operation (Woodie Woodie) is based in the WA Pilbara, 407kms south-east of Port Hedland.
We are currently seeking a Senior Advisor to join the People & Culture team in our corporate office. We are offering this position as either a job-share or as FTE.
Reporting to the Head of People & Culture, the successful applicant will be responsible for (but not limited to):
Developing, implementing and maintaining a Performance Appraisal system
HRIS implementation, succession planning and performance management
Workforce plan including FTE analysis, detail future capability requirements, succession plans, and market mapping to source talent
Developing an EVP (Employee Value Proposition) and roll out
Provide advice on the areas of engagement, diversity, employee relations and best practice human resources management.
Work with both corporate and site-based People and Culture teams
The successful candidate will need to be available for occasional trips to our Woodie Mine Operation (with sufficient notice provided).
Skills & Qualifications required to be successful in this role:
- Degree in Human Resources or a relevant discipline
- Strong working knowledge of HR practices and applicable employee relations legislation (Fair Work Act, Equal Opportunity, State and Federal Awards and Enterprise Bargaining Agreements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, managing stakeholders at all levels
- 5 years previous experience within Human Resources
- Exposure to Mining industry (preferred)
- Systems experience (ELMO, Oracle, INX)
