The role of the Senior Advisor works closely to support the Commissioner and Chief Executive Officer of the VBA through a range of activities, during a time of transformation to ensure the operational aspects of the CEO are delivered.
The role will produce high quality papers, documentation, briefings and presentations within a fast-paced environment.
You will also collaborate and work closely with Executive Directors across a range of matters ensuring governance and stakeholder engagement priorities are being met.

To be successful in this role, you will have;
- Demonstrated ability to build and sustain effective relationships with stakeholders, being responsive to their needs and expectations.
- Strong verbal and written communication and influencing skills, including attention to detail.
- Understanding of VBA and Government processes and systems.
- Ability to proactively identify opportunities for generating workplace innovation, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and take responsibility for initiating outcomes.
- Tertiary qualifications in public policy, law or a related field is highly desireable
