Description:
Position: Senior Civil Airport Engineer
Job status: Exempt
Schedule: Flexible Work Life
Location: Join us in any one of our 12 office locations within our Montana, Wyoming, Oregon, and Washington region
Responsibilities:
- Expertly collaborates with clients to grasp project vision.
- Oversee and lead project lifecycle from planning to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
- Utilize design software for drafting plans and modeling.
- Applies FAA and airport safety knowledge in design work.
- Evaluate quality assurance and quality controls on project work within the team.
- Analyze system deficiencies and provide improvement alternatives to meet project goals.
- Applies technical writing skills for Request for Proposals, report writing, project specifications, and memorandums.
- Ensures precision and safety through meticulous design.
- Tackles design challenges creatively, resolving complex problems.
- Engage with community members, government officials, and other stakeholders to communicate project goals, address concerns, and gather input.
- Develop, inspire, and mentor reporting personnel.
- Stays aware of federal regulations that impact the aviation industry
