HOW WILL I HELP?

WIB Finance product control team is focused on building and maintaining a strong control environment and delivering business insight to a wide range of stakeholders. We are looking for someone to be the controller in credit & rates product control team in the delivery of daily P&L process and associated control activities.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for the preparation of daily and monthly financial results for credit and rates business
  • End-to-end accountability for trading portfolios and perform daily P&L, balance sheet review, commentary, month end ledger close, month end GL substantiation and financial reporting
  • Work directly with front line traders, sales and management located in Australia, New Zealand, and other global offices
  • Work closely with other support functions in the WIB / Treasury business such as Valuations & Market Data, Financial Control, Financial Performance, IT Support and WIB International Operations
  • Deliver on key risk indicators and enhance the current control framework
  • Provide analysis and business commentary to front office and finance stakeholders
  • Gain a thorough understanding of the product systems such as Oracle GL / Cube, Murex, Calypso, GMIS
  • Identify and implement process changes to improve team quality and productivity
  • Assist with ad-hoc change projects where required (eg new product setup, new accounting standards and/or policies)
