Description:

The Senior Analyst and Business Partner is responsible for being a key role in the Financial Planning & Analysis Department and will be responsible for providing business partnering support for several departments as a representative of Finance and trusted advisor. Reporting to the Vice President and working alongside Senior Leaders, they will accomplish. The purpose of this role is to work primarily with our own preferred ownership partner, to provide modeling and analytical support to facilitate a better understanding of the existing portfolio while also impacting the deployment of capital, asset financing, and development investments. This role will support Oasis Marinas in thoroughly understanding select Oasis department goals, initiatives, budget targets, and forecasts. by owning tools and templates to organize and present data for a meaningful analysis. Oasis Marinas and related subsidiaries are Private Equity investments poised to take advantage of accelerated growth opportunities with targeted analysis and decision support. A successful Senior Analyst and Business Partner will be a strong and entrepreneurial leader, be a natural relationship builder, have a self-starter mentality, and have great attention to detail.
A successful Senior Analyst and Business Partner is highly motivated, highly organized, efficient in generating analysis and modeling data sets and someone that communicates across all levels at the organization. The role is highly visible and will work with all levels of the organization to achieve these goals. They are able to thrive in a fast-paced environment that is under a considerable amount of change. The ideal candidate will prove that he/she can form tight partnerships between Finance and other departments by providing insightful analysis and recommendations that can be used to better manage the business. The analysis and support provided by this individual have the potential to be a major driver in the overall success of the company as we continue to aggressively grow the business.

Client Support

  • Produce timely analysis of performance metrics across a portfolio of marina properties with rate of return calculations and other key indicators as directed.
  • Build and maintain pro forma financial models for all owned properties.
  • Maintain financial models and measure against baseline pro-forms to deliver financial and operational metrics used to evaluate and inform investment decisions.
  • Create pro forma financial projections in support of lender presentations and due diligence, helping to create presentation materials for communication to lenders.
  • Influence ROIC analysis on new capital deployments, gathering and integrating feedback from Oasis headquarters and site team members on incremental income upside relative to projected capital spend.
  • Partner closely with Oasis operations teams to ensure key data is received timely and validated against expectations.
  • Gain understanding of industry and company drivers to facilitate the development of analytical tools.
  • Maintain consistent and predictable communication channels with management to ensure awareness of financial forecasting inputs and deliver regular and ad-hoc analysis as required.
  • Leverage reporting and process automation tools to improve productivity and consistency of output

Business Partnering

  • Develop and maintain relationships with divisional leaders as assigned and provide budget and forecasting analysis to influence and support company growth objectives.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis as directed to facilitate query resolution as a trusted advisor.
  • Provide support and participate in departmental FP&A activities as directed to ensure fulfilment of divisional targets.
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports, tables and models in a timely manner using the various tools available to the organization and as instructed by the VP of FP&A.
