YOUR OPPORTUNITY

Our Vancouver office is looking for a Senior Analyst, Business Restructuring and Turnaround Services to join our Corporate Restructuring team and own the following responsibilities:

  • Analyzing financial data, reviewing financial models and accounting records;Assessing companies
  • ' current financial position, business plans and financial forecasts;
  • Preparing integrated cash flow models;
  • Assisting the team in advising corporations, lenders, creditors, shareholders, regulators or the Courts through financial reviews, business turnarounds and financial restructurings (formal or informal);
  • Participating in practice development opportunities; andFlexibility to meet stakeholders and work during non-business hours.

YOUR EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

  • 2 -3 years of experience in a professional accounting services firm
  • Experience in the corporate restructuring field is an asset, but not required
  • Proven analytical and systematic problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
  • Enrolled or willing to enroll in the Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional (CIRP) programHave obtained or in the process of pursuing the CPA accounting

  • Detail oriented, excellent organizational skills
  • Able to prioritize with the flexibility to manage workload demands and multiple tasks as requiredCandidate must have access to reliable transportation, as travel to other BDO offices and off-site locations may be required.

  • Salary Range: $68,000 to $102,000
