About the role
We’re seeking a Senior Analyst Collections Analytics to bring their SQL and data analytics skills and provide detailed subject matter expertise and in-depth analysis of collections data, attain insights and transition these to the development of Initiatives designed to increase revenue.
You’ll join a growing and innovative team, who deliver initiatives at an enterprise level and utilise Collections best practice and data models to optimise Transurban’s Collections performance.
As our Senior Analyst Collections Analytics you’ll contribute to lasting and positive changes that shape the future of our cities and communities. It’s meaningful, challenging and exciting work.
Day-to-day, you will:
-

Be a trusted key point of contact for understanding and evaluation of all Collections data, business and operational initiatives

  • Demonstrate data excellence by building and enhancing data structures which are effective and efficient, in order to deliver to promote fast and accurate reporting
  • Ensure appropriate data governance controls are implemented for storage and sharing of sensitive information
  • Build collection propensity models, profitability analysis, probability analysis, risk scoring and propose new metrics
  • Develop, maintain, and continually enhance strategic dashboards, that are dynamic, easy to use and fit for executives and senior leaders to facilitate data driven decision making
  • Proactively recommend strategies for use of models and insights, focusing on how data driven solutions can be progressively tested and implemented to improve Collections and customer outcomes
  • Utilise predictive analytics to models different customer patterns and actions

This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including:
-

Extensive experience with relational databases and SQL

  • Extensive experience in manipulating and analysing complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality data from varying sources
  • Experience with ETL tools
  • Experience with visualisation tools, such as Tableau
  • Proven ability to communicate complex quantitative analysis in a clear, precise and actionable manner
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills coupled with the ability to work in an ambiguous environment
