Responsibilities:

  • Support the Finance team to meet the management reporting requirements of Group, Consumer and the Westpac, St George, BSA, and BOM Consumer & Small Business businesses.
  • Partner with and build strong relationships with senior finance stakeholders to successfully quantify, deliver and track initiatives critical to business performance e.g. segmentation, banker productivity, return.
  • Produce timely, accurate and insightful monthly management reports that clearly align consolidated financial performance results against targets and forecast incorporating key business drivers and highlighting risks and opportunities.
  • Provide insight and advice (as required) on actual performance against plan & forecasts, investigate variances & provide insightful commentary on the same.
  • Maintain models incorporating key segmentation performance drivers associated with projection of financial outcomes
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis on the financial performance of the Westpac, St George, BSA, and BOM Consumer & Business businesses, understanding the relative performance to industry peers and the impacts of the changing commercial and legislative landscape.
  • Prepare and implement your development plan as agreed with your people leader to expand your professional and personal capability and critical experiences
