Description:
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

LINGUISTIC REQUIREMENTS
Bilingual (English and French). This position requires proficiency in a language other than French to provide support to clients and employees located outside Quebec or who require services in a language other than French.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration and an accounting designation
- Four to eight years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel)
- Knowledge of PeopleSoft and Ariba (an asset)
- Bilingual (spoken and written), French and English essentia
Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements, including regulatory reports.
- Produce and reconcile investment reports.
- Manage cash flow.
- Reconcile and ensure that quarterly tax provisions are properly recorded.
- Participate in preparing tax files for various companies.
- Help coordinate with tax authorities.
- Monitor and ensure compliance of information in administrative and accounting systems.
- Assist in preparing the year-end audit file.
- Participate with Senior Analyst to prepare annual budget estimates.
- Produce annual budget estimates and develop special projects.
- Participate in the continuous improvement and implementation of internal controls.
- Analyze data integrity and apply best practices to plan and make data-driven recommendations to improve overall results.
- Develop, manage and improve processes to ensure efficient data analysis.
- Ensure a consistently high level of quality in service provided in terms of timeliness, accuracy and user-friendliness.
- Ensure that financial management practices, systems and controls are developed, implemented and maintained in accordance with policies and requirements.
- Establish positive relationships with various client business teams to become an “integral part of the team”, providing effective financial control, consultation and support services.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned.
