Description:

WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic individual to join the modelling team in an exciting and fast paced environment!
You will be responsible for the reporting of Corporate & Commercial model performance MI, periodic developments of new models and maintenance of existing models for use in operational decision-making, IRB regulatory capital calculation and IFRS9 impairment provision.

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU STAND OUT?

We are looking for someone with strong analytical and problem solving skills with previous work or academic experience of quantitative modelling.
Understanding of key credit risk modelling concepts ans experience of SAS or similar packages is a must.

Experience with any of the following will help you to stand out but is not necessary in order to apply for this role;

  • Credit risk modelling experience in a financial institution, including IRB, IFRS9, loss forecasting, stress testing, economic capital modelling etc.
  • Understanding of European regulatory IRB guidelines and standards and IFRS 9 accounting standards.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities:

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

  • Maintain IFRS9 model refresh activities.
  • Produce Model Performance Monitoring for IRB and IFRS9 models.
  • Support model validations and audits, periodic recalibration exercises, developments of new models and maintenance of existing models.
  • Focus on data management and process improvement.
  • Support development and training for junior members on the team.
