Description:
Responsibilities:
This role is responsible for conducting research analysis on sectors/ companies and collaboration regional team to further enhance our research and ESG capabilities. He/she must be able to drive the team to be pro-active in generating ideas and able to present firm’s investment outlook and strategy to existing/ potential clients confidently.
KEY JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Tertiary qualification with a major in Finance, Accounting or Economics. Other disciplines are also considered. CFA qualification is an advantage.
- Minimum 5 to 10 years relevant working experience in equity research, fund management or corporate finance.
- Fundamental understanding of finance, economics, markets, financial analysis, accounting and valuation concepts. Basic understanding of contract or corporate law an advantage.
- Good communication skills and must be highly proficient in English.
- Microsoft Office, Bloomberg, relevant statistical software a plus.
Responsibilities:
- To assist the Head of Research in managing the research team to drive investment idea generation to present these to the portfolio management team
- To assist in the preparation of macro views and investment strategy
- To further enhance in-house ESG investing capabilities
- To provide oversight and guidance to junior analysts
- Will be required to present investment views to both internal and external stakeholders
- Other tasks include client servicing, preparation of RFPs, and ad-hoc investment-related requests
