Description:

The Senior Analyst will lead independent verification and validation efforts, providing expert analysis and oversight to ensure the ERP system complies with specified requirements, performs as intended, and supports business objectives. This role involves significant interaction with stakeholders and requires deep technical and functional knowledge of ERP systems. Experienced professional with strong task management and project scheduling and system implementation experience. Demonstrated experience with either implementation of a large-scale cloud-based ERP system, or experience with independent verification and validation of a cloud-based ERP system. Proficiency in business analysis and processes and project management tools and techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven track record of success in gathering and analyzing business requirements, and developing and maintaining business process models, and documenting business solutions. Ability to think strategically and tactically is important.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Eligible to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in IT projects, with a focus on software testing, quality assurance, or business analysis.
  • Extensive experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Strong understanding of independent verification and validation processes and methodologies.
  • Proven track record of success in gathering and analyzing business requirements, and developing and maintaining business process models, and documenting business solutions
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) or business analysis (e.g., CBAP).
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience in leading teams and managing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of independent verification and validation plans, procedures, and checklists. Coordinate with SI PM on overall development and application of the plan.
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of project documentation, including requirements, design documents, and test plans.
  • Perform in-depth verification and validation activities to ensure the ERP system meets all functional and technical specifications. Coordinate with System Integrator (SI) Project Manager (PM) to track, monitor and report project progress, at clearly defined points in the process to ensure that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and that it meets or exceeds expectations.
  • Identify, document, and track issues, risks, and defects; conduct root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for project stakeholders, including executives. Participate in project meetings, steering committees, and contribute to discussions on project progress, risks, and issues.
  • Collaborate with project team members, including developers, testers, and business analysts, to gather and analyze data. Coordinate with SI PM to ensure requirements, project plans, and changes to commitment are communicated to all affected team members.
  • Provide mentorship and tasking guidance and accountability to Junior Analysts and other team members.
  • Participate in review of SI Deliverable Acceptance when asked.
  • Stay current with ERP system updates, industry standards, and best practices in independent verification and validation.
