Description:

Purpose of the position :

  • In this role, you will focus on assisting the Head of HR Asia in leading various HR projects in Asia, including employee engagement, employee communication, capability development, coordinating talent reviews and succession planning, liaising with various HR activities in Asia, and initiating and completing HR projects in Asia with the Head of Global HR projects.
  • You must be passionate about helping people learn and grow.
  • Excellent communication skills are essential. You will be responsible for creating training programs and curriculum development as well as managing talent and succession planning.
  • You will help our company succeed by training and developing its people. You will report to the VP of Human Resources.

Essential Responsibilities include the following :

  • Evaluate individual and organizational development needs.
  • Explore SEF and SBD training programs. Work with CoC SEF and SBD to build and execute new programs for SEF employees.
  • Design and implement custom solutions and tools. Collaborate with internal SEF business partners to create programs, training solutions and tools to address business needs.
  • Implement various learning methods companywide (e.g. coaching, job-shadowing, online training).
  • Manage online Learning Management Systems hand in hand with SEF and SBD CoC.
  • Review, adapt and implement L&D process in line with business needs but also collective bargaining agreements.
  • You will help managers develop their team members through career pathing.
  • Track budgets and negotiate contracts for Training and Development.
  • Define specific business/operational challenges in training. Work with Leadership Teams to define talent-related needs and create solution strategies.
  • You will manage the onboarding programs for SEF Asia. Establish and employ a consistent experience for all positions that creates engagement and embraces the success of all new teammates.
  • You will identify and deliver programs on leadership and management development (future leaders) in collaboration with SEF and SBD Center of Excellence.
  • Create methods for measuring the effectiveness of training and development programs.
  • You will develop a performance management program that moves beyond the annual review and towards active coaching. In this role you will work with the Human Resources Director and Team to manage other Human Resources issues and projects (employee relations, special events, compensation planning, etc.) .
  • Willingness to travel to 20%
  • Support in SEF HR projects
