Description:
Join our Internal Audit Data, Operations and Transformation team and play a key role driving the operations of Internal Audit and enable audit teams to increase risk identification across Macquarie.

What role will you play?
Reporting to Senior Management, Board Committees and Regulators, you will coordinate and assist with the preparation of Internal Audit, support the production and analysis of key metrics, identify trends, risks and opportunities. In addition, you will coordinate global team members and assist with department wide projects to uplift Internal Audit processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
You will support audit teams by performing any required data adjustments or maintenance, confirming standardisation of audit reports, performing report issuances, managing the post-audit feedback process, issuing questionnaires and preparing analysis of responses.
What you offer
- Experience in Operational Risk, Internal Audit, Reporting or Data related role, with experience in the financial services industry being desirable.
- Technical and analytical skills, backed by attention to detail and sound judgement
- Competency in Microsoft Office 365 suite, with an awareness and desire to learn about scripting languages such as Python, SQL, R and VBA
Excellent verbal and written communication skillsProficiency in using and developing Power BI dashboard and Alteryx workflows is advantageous.

In our Risk Management Group, you will be part of an independent, and centralised function, responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquarie’s material risks. Our divisions include Compliance, Credit, Financial Crime Risk, Internal Audit, Market Risk, Operational Risk, Prudential Risk, and Risk Management Group Central.
