How can you grow with Nufarm?
As one of our Senior Chemical Analysts you will be responsible for developing qualitative and quantitative analytical methods in support of current and future business needs. This is an exciting new position for the site as part of the current investment programme in Wyke, Bradford.
What will you be doing?

Responsibilities:

Responsible for analytical method expansion of new and adapted methodologies, ensuring their proper validation for repeatability, linearity, robustness and reproducibility.
Carry out the necessary analytical work in a timely manner to support the UK and European business.
Construct best practise reports and methods.
To maintain/increase standards in QC by way of regular audits.
To provide training, support and methods to R&D team members.
Carry out the necessary tasks to support routine audits, including those related to safety.
Carry out the role of GLP Deputy Auditor ensuring all training and auditing is kept up date.
What do you bring?
The successful candidate will be a graduate Chemist or related discipline; have experience of working in an analytical laboratory; and proven experience of instrumental chemical analysis, in particular GC, HPLC and GC-MS as well as wet chemistry techniques. You will have knowledge and experience of chromatography and mass spec. You will be able to work accurately and methodically, generating and recording data in a manner consistent with policies, procedures and regulations. Self-motivation and good time management skills are essential. Experience of working in method validation would be advantageous.
