POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Transformation Operations Consultant will act as a key resource to the pharmacy operational teams to quickly provide visibility, resources and support regarding the assigned therapy. This individual will perform multiple functions with a focus on analytics and reporting to drive business results. This role is accountable to providing a transparent method of monitoring and defining KPIs to measure the health of the assigned therapy and will take ownership of Therapy level performance. In this role, one must have excellent written and verbal communications skills to collaborate with many cross-functional teams via video, telephone, e-mail, and written letters. This position will be a central point of contact to resolve a wide variety of issues and projects of varying complexity. The Analyst will work with COE Therapy Advisors and Therapy Directors to identify root causes and permanently fix any issues to prevent recurrence.
This colleague will support manufacturer relations and payer/PBM relations, drug launch strategy, system enhancements, operational therapy initiatives and patient care. The Analyst will be asked to perform other pharmacy functions as required to help support development, maximize workflow and ultimately provide the highest level of care to our patients.
+This colleague may occasionally be expected to travel to CVS offices. Expected travel will be no more than 10%.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3-5 years relevant work analysis experience
- Proven ability to support and manage multi-faceted initiatives and use effective judgment in prioritization and time allocation
- 3+ years of pharmacy operations experience
- Demonstrated high level of integrity and independent judgement and initiative
- Demonstrated strong and effective high quality execution to meet deliverables and tasks in appropriate timelines
- Excellent presentation and communication skills/techniques
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment to solve challenging issues and identify opportunities for improvement
- Ability to work collaboratively with pharmacy operation teams and represent/support the business
- Possess strong overall working and hands-on knowledge of Pharmacy applications
- Possess strong overall working and hands-on knowledge in specialty operations and therapy processes
- Demonstrate flexibility to support rapid adjustments to strategy and priorities to meet changing business requirements; conveys strong sense of urgency to drive issues to closure
- Possess ability to apply new, innovative approaches to initiative delivery
- Good understanding of metrics, measurement of activities, productive work, rates etc. to support calculation and/or validating value/savings, building business cases and business models for value
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 to 8 years relevant work experience
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
