Description:

GET TO KNOW OKTA

Okta is The World’s Identity Company. We free everyone to safely use any technology—anywhere, on any device or app. Our Workforce and Customer Identity Clouds enable secure yet flexible access, authentication, and automation that transforms how people move through the digital world, putting Identity at the heart of business security and growth.
At Okta, we celebrate a variety of perspectives and experiences. We are not looking for someone who checks every single box - we’re looking for lifelong learners and people who can make us better with their unique experiences.
Join our team! We’re building a world where Identity belongs to you.
The Okta Security team’s mission is to strengthen Okta’s position as the leading Identity-as-a-Service solution through identifying and resolving risks to the employees, product, and most importantly, our customers. With the ever-increasing pace of cloud application adoption, companies are struggling to find ways to accurately assess risk and act at the speed of their business.
The Customer Trust team is the voice of Okta Security both externally and internally. It’s our role to influence how the Okta security brand is perceived and to shape the security culture of the company. Within Customer Trust is the Security Culture team, which, above and beyond a traditional Security Awareness and Training function, exists to empower Okta employees to understand the role they play in helping protect Okta, combat security breaches, and foster a culture of security across the organization.

Through our continued focus and innovative methods, we aim to ensure that:

  • When people think of Okta, they think of a leading zero trust cybersecurity company
  • When people work at Okta, they think of role modeling security behaviors to meet the high standard we set for security internally

The Staff Analyst Security Culture, reporting to the Senior Director Security Culture, is a key member of the Customer Trust team, responsible for security culture initiatives, including security policy and best practice training, awareness and communications in support of the global growth of the Okta business.
This position requires a team player with strong communication and collaboration skills, detailed working knowledge of security, including security awareness and training practices. Success in this role will require innovative and engaging approaches to security awareness to drive cultural change, and demonstrating experience in this regard will be key.
A genuine passion for people led change is essential. We have a number of opportunities available and we would love to hear from you to explore the key qualities you can bring to our growing team.
