JOB OVERVIEW:

LPL Financial is seeking a Senior Analyst in our Supervision team to help support M&A deals, Large Recruiting Events and Business Acclimation for our advisor population. This role will be working across a broad spectrum of stakeholders including business leaders and their peers across the firm. Additionally, the role will have discrete responsibilities, but also be tasked with tackling ad-hoc topics as they arise. The ideal candidate will be able to effectively frame questions, challenges, and opportunities, both qualitatively and quantitatively, for discussion and consumption by business leaders.
In addition to supporting specific deliverables, views, and viewpoints, the candidate must contextualize complex and complicated problems drawing from disciplines such as strategy development, business analysis, process management, operations, and systems analysis.
This is an individual contributor role responsible for developing a framework to ensure advisors joining LPL go through a successful integration from the Supervision perspective. The successful candidate must possess strategic foresight and be skilled and experienced in engaging in high-level strategic discussions with business leaders. Additionally, the candidate must also understand, utilize, and stay current with industry best practices, financial markets, the regulatory environment, and the competitive landscape to optimize results.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3+ years’ experience in strategic consulting and/or strategic program management.
  • Direct experience in dealing with interested parties to gather feedback and share ideas.
  • Advanced user of MS Office, Word, Excel, Power Point.
  • Experienced with creation of Smartsheet and/or Tableau Reporting Dashboards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, organization as well as strong quantitative and analytical skills.

Responsibilities:

  • For key business initiatives, be able to frame scope, goals, and deliverables that support business needs in collaboration with all stakeholders.
  • Competent in strategic consulting and change management practices with the ability to represent complex issues appropriately.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and presentation ability, especially to executive management, with the ability to convey complex issues in understandable forms to various audiences.
  • Create documents, frameworks, and analysis (quantitative and qualitative) to help solution critical business issues.
  • Assist in proactively communicating initiative details across all levels of the organization and across multiple departments in a clear and concise manner.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and make recommendations for change within the current ecosystem.
  • Synthesize data and insights into executive presentations to facilitate business decision making.
  • Collaborate with leaders, subject matter experts and users to communicate the proposed solution vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage multiple projects.
  • Detail oriented and organized with the ability to be comfortable in ambiguous and challenging situations.
  • Builds strong partnerships across all teams. Creates / updates Management Committee and Board of Directors deliverables for leadership using Smartsheet, PowerPoint and Tableau.
