Role name: Analyst
Role Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst to join our Vendor Management team.
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 4 years of experience in Vendor Management, with a strong focus on contract (specifically Statement of Work) reviews.
This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strategic thinking, consulting skills, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
Consulting & Advisory: Act as the Vendor Management SME for designated teams to provide expert guidance and recommendations to internal stakeholders on vendor selection, contract negotiations, vendor management best practices and implementation of supplier arrangements.
Vendor Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring adherence to contractual agreements and service level expectations.
Contract Reviews: Conduct thorough reviews of vendor contracts aligning with deliverables, terms, Service Level Agreements, etc. to identify risks, opportunities, and compliance requirements.
Provide recommendations for contract improvements and negotiate terms where necessary.
Approval Management: Support the weekly CIO approvals process by conducting strategic and detailed reviews of approval submissions to ensure alignment to vendor strategies, best practices, and reporting needs.
Vendor Performance Monitoring: Support the monitoring of vendor performance metrics to asses performance and identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with vendors to implement corrective actions as needed.
Documentation: Supports management and implementation of documentation / process controls / knowledge assets required for business operations and audit trails.
Strategic Thinking: Contribute to the development of vendor management strategies and initiatives to optimize vendor performance, reduce costs, and mitigate risks.
Process Optimization: Identify process gaps and improvement areas and support the implementation of process improvement strategies.
Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present comprehensive reports and analysis to senior leadership, highlighting key vendor management metrics, trends, and insights.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in Vendor Management, with a strong focus on contract reviews and experience working with leaders.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate and mitigate risks.
  • Excellent consulting and communication skills, with the ability to confidently present complex information to senior leadership.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint and Word).
  • Experience with PowerBI dashboards is preferred but not required.
