Responsibilities:

  • Deep dive into Exposure and Risk Weighted Assets (RWA) movements and explain variances with forecasts/movements across 2 points - be the bridge ("analytic translators") between modelling outputs and credit/business & finance.
  • Ensure all Capital reporting & insight is delivered to a high quality, with robust governance and within the times frames set by the business and Westpac policy.
  • Be across capital (Basel 3) and associated regulatory/accounting requirements. Drive ongoing change to ensure that all reporting/analytics remains fit for purpose in light of ongoing regulatory changes
  • Understand compliance and data security obligations and ensure they are met.
  • Provide expert knowledge and work with the Data Integration team to design and build dashboards/reports/papers
  • Work with project stakeholders to ensure business objectives are well communicated and be part of writing business requirements and signing off business acceptance testing
