Required Qualifications:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Analytics Consultant within Consumer Operations Analytics. The role will focus on performing analyses, delivering insights, solving problems, and creating metrics and reporting to identify opportunities and execute critical projects to optimize consumer collections strategy and operations and maintain regulatory compliance, and lead process improvement and risk control development initiatives. In this role, you will:

• Collaborate and consult with business partners, peers, colleagues, external contractors, and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
• Consult, review and research moderately to complex business, operational, and technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable data factors
• Review and research complex business issues, and present findings and recommendations including providing insights, performing analytical support, and/or reporting regarding a wide array of operational issues
• Develop a deep understanding of technical systems and business processes to extract data driven insights while identifying opportunities for engineering enhancements
• Applies knowledge of business, customers, and/or products/portfolios/services to synthesize data to ‘form a story’ and align information to contrast/compare to industry perspective
• Data involved is typically very large, structured or unstructured, and from multiple sources
• May be involved directly with technical buildouts while supporting databases, query tools, reporting tools, BI tools, dashboards, etc. that enable analysis, and/or advanced data visualization
• Lead or participate on large cross group projects
• Manage or participate on large cross group projects and mentor less experienced staff
• Leverage a solid understanding of compliance and risk management requirements for supported area
• Mentor less experienced staff
• Perform moderately to highly complex data analysis to support, drive strategic initiatives and business needs, including business analysis, data, dashboards, and/or reporting while incorporating advanced data visualization
