DESCRIPTION

• Fluency in French would only be considered a nice to have for this position and interviews will be conducted in English.

• This is a hybrid position - work from home on Mondays and Fridays and in the office Tuesday to Thursday therefore candidates should be based in the GTA

• Typical day to day for this role would entail working in an Agile environment with Scrum team members such as Product Owners, QA, and Development. This particular role would entail 90% hands on keyboard Android development.

• The top 3 skill sets and qualifications are -
  Kotlin
  Compose,

5+ years of working as an Android Developer. It would also really help them stand out if they have experience developing Android TV apps.

• The interview process will be held virtually and will entail a personal round as well as a technical round.
• Successful candidates would be working on initiatives for the Crave, CTV, and Noovo Android apps.
• The expected hiring date is as soon as possible.

Responsible for designing, developing, and testing mobile applications for smartphones and tablets.
They work with stakeholders to identify requirements and design user-friendly interfaces.
They also write and test code, troubleshoot technical issues, and collaborate with other developers and engineers to ensure the application meets performance and security standards.
