Description:

THIS INCLUDES:

  • Delivering high quality evidenced based Nutrition and Dietetic clinical services to patients/consumers within a highly functioning interprofessional team.
  • Contribution to the advancement of quality Nutrition and Dietetic and Diabetes Education services and optimal patient care, through provision of service development, quality improvement, and clinical education.
  • Monitoring and reporting on work practices and outcomes, including initiating, planning and evaluating relevant quality and research initiatives.
  • Providing supervision and training to less experienced (HP3) clinicians, students and to Allied Health Assistants (AHA’s).

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As the Senior Antenatal Dietitian MGP, you will be responsible for delivering senior dietitian and diabetes education services within Logan-Beaudesert Health Service (LBHS) Midwifery Group Practice antenatal outpatient services. This position will receive referrals for women with complex diabetes in pregnancy and diagnosed gestational diabetes and provides dual scope of practice as both an Accredited Practicing Dietitian and Credentialled Diabetes Educator.
