Description:

The role: You will be required to provide effective change management, capacity planning, risk management and continuity planning utilising best practices in systems support and service delivery, with the ITIL framework and ensure compliance and optimal performance of enterprise service levels by managing and performing the dissemination and implementation of policies, processes and standards for technical configuration of the enterprise infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead changes required as per the roadmap, at the request of application manager
  • Ensure all changes, are delivered on schedule, and as planned in regards to impact to clients.
  • Maintain and manage effective working relationships and engage with third parties that provide technical support for the enterprise infrastructure.
  • Lead, manage and mentor a team at strategic and operational levels in the integrated operation of complex enterprise information systems to achieve defined service levels.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrated ability to develop and promote ITIL Service Management processes primarily incident / problem / change / release management. management.

  • Demonstrated expert level skills and experience in managing clinical applications and its integration with business requirements and technical environment in a large and complex service delivery environment. In particular expert skills in the ieMR Medications, Anaesthesia and PowerTrials stream and the Queensland Health Statewide Automated Dispensing Cabinet Service
  • Demonstrated ability to manage diverse activities and priorities across organisational boundaries to ensure that service delivery meets agreed service levels in a customer focused ICT environment. Experience in negotiating and managing service level agreements with emphasis on a strong customer focus. (SFIA: SLMO Level 5)
  • Well-developed interpersonal, written and oral communication skills including the ability to negotiate, advise, influence others and work collaboratively with people including senior business and technical stakeholders to make decisions. (NHS: Effective and strategic influencing)
  • Proven ability to lead, manage and mentor a team of technical specialists. (NHS: Leading change through people)
  • Well-developed ability to build and maintain appropriate relationships with team members, other technical specialists, application specialists, vendors and end users (NHS: Collaborative Working)
  • Ability to lead complex technical projects, offer technical support and advice to consumers.
