The Halifax office is looking for a Senior Architectural Technologist to join their team. The ideal candidate will require strong design skills, technical and problem-solving skills with a distinguished attention to details.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate of a college level architectural technology/technician program
  • 10+ years of professional experience, preferably in the consulting industry
  • Proficient in using Revit, SketchUp and AutoCAD
  • Must possess a strong ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with staff and clients
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative, team environment

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to RVA’s architectural and building services group
  • Modern architectural schematic design and presentation of assigned projects in our wide body of work
  • Prepare 2D and 3D presentation/design drawings
  • Production of documents in 3D modeling, REVIT, SketchUP, 3D Studio, and rendering software such as AutoCAD
  • Responsible coordinating and communicating within the multidisciplinary engineering teams
  • Participate in site meetings and conduct general reviews
  • Other duties as applicable to this position
