Description:

  • Actively contribute to the development and delivery of best practice funding management to meet program control measures, stakeholder needs and QRA requirements.
  • Undertake work related to the management of funding programs, including complex analysis and providing recommendations on activities/projects aligned with QRA business needs.
  • Actively contribute to continuous improvement and communicate team vision aligned to operational needs and best practice business processes and tools.
  • Undertake complex in-house or where required infield activities, providing advice (where required) to build applicant capability and ensure effective delivery of specified programs of work.
  • Provide regular updates to Team Leaders and key stakeholders on the status of tasks, risk mitigation and issue escalation as required.
  • Employ clear and succinct communication, in ways that resonate with different individuals, facilitate team goals and helps build rapport across work groups and external stakeholders
  • Conduct training, presentations, guides/supplementary material and represent the team/organisation as appropriate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Managerial ability, including the ability to supervise staff, set priorities, monitor work flow, develop local strategies, procedures and work practices, and allocate resources.o
  • This includes demonstrated personnel management skills, the ability to apply equal employment opportunity principles and procedures and industrial relations principles and occupational health and safety guidelines.
  • Endorse/approve assessments under relevant funding requirements and controls system, providing advice (where required) to build individual and team capability and ensure effective delivery of specified programs of work.
  • Undertake related projects and other duties of equivalent complexity as required, to align with QRA’s strategic objectives and operational planning.
  • Work under limited supervision using a high level of initiative to resolve issues and ensure responsible workflow management of both you and your team.
  • This role may be required to travel within Queensland on occasion to meet with stakeholders.
  • Opportunities to travel post disaster events may be required to support QRA response and recovery operations.
