We have a fantastic and challenging opportunity for a technically focused individual with exceptional people skills to join our solutions-driven asset management team as a Senior Asset Engineer.
As a respected industry leader in Asset Management, you will draw on your consultative approach to advise our clients and recommend best practice and pragmatic solutions.
You will use and assist in developing the latest technology in asset management, data analysis, deterioration forecasting, maintenance planning support, and development of asset renewals forward works plans.

NGA PŪKENGA MATUA | IMPORTANT SKILLS

We are welcoming applications from people with the following skills and attributes;

  • Desirable to hold tertiary Engineering qualification or similar,
  • Significant and proven experience within the New Zealand roading industry, specialising in asset management across both state highway and local authority sectors and the respective funding approaches.
  • Experience in the contracting sector sufficient to advise on best practice maintenance activity management to complement asset management outcomes.
  • Technically savvy with the ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, RAMM, and Juno Viewer applications.
  • Knowledge of predictive modelling approaches to support forecasting accuracy.
  • Budgetary control, claim assessment and contract management in line with NZS3910, NZTA SAP and CPV requirements.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to empower and motivate those around you, including presentation experience.
