Our Business Area Wind is responsible for Vattenfall’s Onshore and Offshore Wind as well as other renewable activities such as solar PV and batteries. Today we develop, construct and operate wind generation in Sweden, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands and the UK.
We are looking for an experienced and pro-active Senior Asset Manager to work on our growing pipeline and asset base of Offshore projects.
In this role you will shape the development of our asset management process in our offshore business, which will be instrumental to ensuring we preserve and drive value from our operational asset base in a complex regulatory landscape and maturing industry.

Also, you bring the following qualifications:

• An economics, mathematics, law, technical, commercial and/or scientifical qualification to graduate level or equivalent.
• Knowledge and experience of risk management principles and application desirable
• Candidates should be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of business case drivers and commercial opportunities
• Experience of working in renewables, oil and gas, or similar complex industries is desirable

• Excellent written and spoken English is a key requirement as well as the ability to use MS Office, in particular MS Excel and PowerPoint.

As a Senior Asset Manager you will be part of the Asset Management and OMA team sitting within the Commercial and Asset Management function within Offshore. The Asset Management and OMA team is a commercial team that delivers end-to-end value for Vattenfall’s offshore wind assets. It is responsible for delivering effective partnerships, asset management and managing revenue and risk for offshore wind projects across Northern Europe, including the UK.

Your responsibilities a Senior Asset Manager can be described as following:

• Responsible for ensuring that the asset management plans to end of life are in place that will form the basis of the business plan for BU Offshore
• Drive analyses for decisions related to key strategic commercial and technical decisions for the asset (e.g. WTG Term 2 readiness, End of Life Strategies etc) drawing on the input and diverse skill set of the BU offshore organisation
• Lead risk and opportunity management activities on applicable assets via proactive identification and quantification and management of both mitigation and implementation plans
• Work with a wide range of BU Offshore stakeholders
• Lead and present decision proposals to senior management
• Manage contract obligations and drive value from the operations and maintenance agreements (OMA) with joint venture partners
• Hold compliance overview for the asset under management
