Senior Associate, Accounting (Controllers)
Global Finance supports all of Capital One’s worldwide financial activities, including corporate-level financial reporting, internal control, inter-company and tax activities. Within Global Finance, the Travel and Expense team is seeking a Senior Associate to act as the corporate card administrator for the Latin America program. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and implementing the roadmap for success in Latin America and collaborating with international and domestic partners. You will serve as an administrator for our Latin America corporate card program, and partner with colleagues across Finance and Enterprise Risk Management to deliver results and implement risk solutions to ensure Capital One’s continued stability and success. This role requires someone who pays close attention to the details, has strong communication skills, strong project/process management skills and someone with the confidence to challenge the status quo and drive step change improvements.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 4+ years of experience in Risk Management
- 3+ years managing Data or Access Management Risks
- 2+ years of experience in Financial Services
- 1+ years of experience working in a fast paced consulting environment
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
- Excellent problem solving and influencing skills
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main point of contact for the LatAm expense reimbursement process through Peoplesoft and administration of the LatAm Corporate Card program.
- Deliver a well-managed process, monitoring process health and user engagement/satisfaction to recommend projects/initiatives
- Drive continuous improvement, by developing business requirements, recommending and implementing well-managed solutions
- Own management of projects, from the planning phase through delivery and stabilization, keeping stakeholders and leadership informed of progress and impediments.
- Collaborate with several teams across the organization on various corporate initiatives
- Present results, findings, risks and recommendations to leadership and Global Finance stakeholders
