Senior Associate Bond Market Support - Mandarin Speaking

Financial Markets Department covers both trading book and banking book activities for Bank of China London Branch and Bank of China (UK) Limited. As a Senior Associate Bond Market Support - Mandarin Speaking, you will support the Bond Management team in implementing banking book bond investment and bond issuance. You will produce relevant market research, prepare regular and ad-hoc reports for Management and Head Office. This is a full time permanent position.

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree educated in Banking, Finance or other equivalent
• Relevant professional qualification as required
• Working towards or obtained CISI Capital Markets qualification, incl. UK Financial Regulations, Securities & Derivatives
• Knowledge of Financial Markets and Fixed Income product
• Excellent attention to detail with ability to multi-task
• Able to work in a fast paced environment
• Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills
• Excellent organisation skills
• Good problem solving skills
• Team player
• Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin
• Flexible in terms of working hours

• Undertake economic and market research
• Conduct bond market analysis, execute bond investment transactions and handle post investment monitoring and reports
• Support with bond issuance projects
• Handle MI analysis and other related work
• Support departmental and cross departmental projects as required
• Produce various MIs and undertake risk monitoring
• Ensure that all activities comply with the Bank’s internal policies, procedures, and other regulatory requirements
• Participate in additional projects and initiatives on behalf of the department
• Undertake additional duties assigned by Head of Department and Management as in when required
• Support with administrative work
