Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, analyse, and investigate aspects of financial reporting of the Business Lending product’s Finance Performance (Lending volumes, Net Interest Margin, Fee incomes, credit impairment charges), including understanding of variances to Business plan / forecast to ensure accurate reporting and the production of business financial insight for potential drivers of variances.
  • Provide detailed financial analysis by using data analytical skills to enable the provision of commercial and financial advice, on both strategic and operational initiatives.
  • Maintain strong balance sheet control and understanding through the review and sign off balance sheet reconciliations including ensuring aged balances are cleared and reconciliation breaks are clearly understood.
  • Support half year and year end reporting periods reporting and disclosures.
  • Support change initiatives by managing all financial impacts including validating / restatement of numbers, mapping of ledger and insight and taking actions to reduce key data gaps as required. Complete maintenance requests and support HFM changes as required.
  • Run relevant product planning models to ensure business inputs and group assumptions are reflected.
  • Maintain an understanding of group finance policy requirements and ensure compliance including identifying and addressing any areas of non-compliance.
