JOB DESCRIPTION
- The incumbent is primarily responsible for improving operational management systems in front-end systems such as point-of-sale projects.
- He/ she will contribute to a dynamic team who is responsible for the streamlining of existing processes, formulation and implementation of new technology projects, including performing user acceptance testing, as well as stakeholder management.
- Support project lead in implementation of standard operating procedures for new initiatives, in accordance with audit and financial requirements which involves the formulation of training materials for end users.
- As a subject matter expert of those projects, he/she will resolve business system production issues together with the relevant stakeholders and assist in gathering feedback from stores and other stakeholders post-live. Continuously identify gaps and work closely with ITD and vendors in issue resolution.
- Candidate is also required to travel between outlets for pre/post project implementation, including deployment of the various projects and interact with people from all levels.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma in any discipline, preferably in Business and Marketing or Business Info Systems
- Previous working experience in the retail industry preferred but not compulsory
- Experience in conducting UAT independently will be a plus point
- Outgoing and willingness to acquire new skills
- Ability to communicate with others effectively
- Comfortable with new technology and backend systems
- Able to multitask and manage tight timelines
- Good decision making skills and respond to high-pressure situations
- Keen eye for details
