Develop and grow McKesson Canada’s retail pharmacy customer base. The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for promoting our wholesale offerings, Identifying, and acquiring new business as well as qualifying leads for other McKesson service offerings. The Inside Sales Representative must achieve sales forecast objectives for a specific territory and deliver value and customer solutions through the promotion of new and existing programs and services.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Exceptionally strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • A minimum of 3-5 years sales or Account Management experience
  • Customer Service Experience an asset.
  • University degree: Business, Marketing, Economics, Science or related preferred.
  • Financially Astute
  • Ability to build strong relationships with various stakeholders across the organization.
  • Independent and Autonomous yet possess strong team ethic.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Positive attitude, resourceful, proactive, solution oriented
  • high sense of urgency and initiative
  • Knowledge in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point).
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, Five9 and AS400 is an asset, Power BI
  • Strong English communication skills (verbal & written)

Responsibilities:

Duties and responsibilities generally include but are not limited to:

  • Develop new business and maintain loyalty with existing customers – targeting Independent and Banner retail accounts.
  • Promote wholesale offering and McKesson value added services and programs.
  • Qualify leads for new accounts.
  • Develop territory plans and tactics required to support delivering sales forecast and drive market share in partnership with Banner Account Team
  • Proactively engage with Account teams to share customer feedback as well as competitor, market and industry trends.
  • Rigorously assess territory performance, conduct on-going analysis and develop course correction plans as necessary.
  • Manage complex customer escalations that have been through the customer care channels and are then brought forward by field reps, account team, pharmacy owners or banner head offices. Be able to partner with key stakeholders across the organization to de-escalate.
  • Strong capacity to network across the organization and form key relationships with stakeholders in (but not limited to) Transportation, Sales Operations, Customer care, Sales Support and Finance to resolve complex escalations and customer pain points while demonstrating strong I2care and ILead core values and principles.
  • Have the ability to balance advocating for the customer while supporting McKesson Canada’s strategic business decisions, policies and processes.
  • Partner with Pharmacy Customer owners and decision-makers on a scheduled call cycle with the purpose of building a strong partnership and enhancing customer loyalty.
  • Conduct regular business reviews, gather insights and discuss opportunities to help customers achieve growth and long-term objectives.
  • Manage new customer leads, movement and changes between customer groups to ensure customer retention.
  • Work closely to educate and support new customers through the Customer Onboarding Journey for long term success and partnership.
  • Ensure adherence to and usage of sales process, call reporting and customer relationship management tools to improve overall territory management and business development skills.
  • Support other Business Development and Customer Partnership organizational activities as required.
