We are looking for a 4+ year PAE Senior Associate to join our high performing and successful Employers Liability team in Newcastle or Sydney.

REQUIREMENTS

To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • an academic qualification in law, with a current Practicing Certificate;
  • a minimum of 4 years’ PAE in defendant litigation, preferably in workers compensation/work injury damages matters;
  • excellent analytical, drafting and communication (verbal and written) skills, with superior attention to detail; and
  • experience in policy wording review/drafting.

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will take responsibility and ownership over a range of tasks, including but not limited to:

  • working on a diverse range of complex workers compensation and work injury damages matter;
  • be a key contact with regular involvement with clients;
  • appear in various courts and tribunals, including the Personal Injury Commission; and
  • supervise and train junior lawyers.
