    The role
    We are currently looking for a Senior Associate Engineer – Water Infrastructure to join our Sydney business. The successful candidate will have a good base of Water and Wastewater detailed design experience with a passion and willingness to expand your experience and knowledge.

With a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and a minimum of 15+ years of industry experience, this role will include:

  • Design of civil works for water and wastewater network and or treatment facilities.
  • Civil works include buried water/sewer/stormwater/reticulation piping, aqueducts, asset impact assessment, trenchless installations, slabs, roads, pavements, etc
  • Prepare civil calculations and details of civil elements,
  • Design of pipe network pressurised mains, gravity mains, hydraulics, transient, surge analysis, pipework structural integrity, sewage and water pumping stations
  • Guiding/managing engineers, design modelers and drafters to produce design models and drawings that are to client’s expectations of specifications /standards / codes of practice
  • Lead as DM or PM of assigned packages of works to project deadlines, budgeted hours and high quality of work.
  • Ability to work on existing or new major and complex civil packages
  • Coordinate requirements with other engineering disciplines such as process, geotechnical, structural, electrical, mechanical, materials engineers or multifaceted team of advisors from environment, contamination and community & stakeholder advisors.
  • Contributing to bid preparation and providing technical input across all disciplines
