ABOUT YOU
With a minimum of 4-6 years PQE, you’ll bring experience in preparing, negotiating, and reviewing contractual documentation for complex projects, along with a solid understanding of standard form contracts commonly encountered in the field. Your expertise will extend to front-end construction matters, coupled with excellent interpersonal skills for cultivating key business relationships. Possessing outstanding drafting and analytical abilities, you’ll approach issues with a practical and commercial mindset.

Responsibilities:
Joining Gadens’ highly regarded Property, Planning, and Construction group, alongside Daniel Middleton and Andrew Denehy, presents an exciting opportunity. The team boasts a strong client base and a robust pipeline of work spanning various sectors. As a construction lawyer in this role, you’ll be responsible for preparing and negotiating a diverse range of agreements, contracts, and documents for building and engineering projects. You’ll have the chance to work independently and collaboratively with partners and other senior team members.
Additionally, you’ll engage extensively with clients and mentor junior lawyers, including graduates, as needed. In return, you’ll receive exceptional mentoring and the chance to advance your career within one of Australia’s foremost construction practices.
