We are seeking an individual to join our European CTS Industrials team as (Senior) Associate (m/f/d) focusing on the Industrial sector, encompassing Automotive, A&D, Engineered Products, Hightech, and Energy.
This role will play an integral part in supporting and contributing to the following responsibilities:

REQUIREMENTS:

We are seeking individuals with a genuine interest in transformation initiatives. Ideal candidates for this role might possess:

  • Prior experience in consulting, especially in strategy or management consulting
  • A track record of professional growth and development within a consulting / corporate environment
  • Proficiency in conducting in-depth diagnostic assessments of operational issues, product profitability, cost base, and manufacturing processes
  • Solid skills in data gathering, rigorous analysis, hypothesis formulation, and creating compelling recommendations to clients
  • Experience in conceptualizing and implementing innovative operating models that elevate business performance
  • In-depth knowledge of industries such as machinery & equipment, automotive, OEM suppliers, industrial automation, metals and mining, aerospace & defense, or energy
  • Practical industry experience beyond consultancy will be considered an advantage
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English and German at a business level
  • Master’s degree or higher education in STEM, economics, finance, or business management, or related field

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participate in large-scale transformation and restructuring initiatives
  • Pre-deal commercial and operational M&A advice
  • Carve-out and post-merger integration
  • 100-day improvement plan, quantified EBITDA / cash improvement and its implementation
  • Functional expertise e.g., in finance, sales, purchasing, supply chain, S&OP, production, R&D
