Description:

PROFILE OF IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  • 3-5 (Associate) | 5-7 (AVP) years of relevant working experience in project finance (across any sectors, from buy/sellside/corporate/advisory firms)
  • Must be technically strong to hit ground running
  • Knowledge and passion for financing and development of large scale projects
  • Good technical skills, i.e modelling etc. Prior experience in executing project/asset finance deals, including negotiating transaction documents
  • Attention to detail, ability to deliver under time pressure
  • Team player, good interpersonal skills
  • Strong work ethics and excellent learning / work attitude, independent and can perform without much supervision
  • Analytical and numerate with basic accounting and finance knowledge
  • Strong problem solving, analytical and communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Support origination, structuring and execution; take an ownership role in the execution of non-recourse project finance loans and other structured debt products across the Asia Pacific region
  • Run screening of new transactions from a strategic, credit and financial perspective
  • Lead due diligence and credit approval process for new transactions
  • Participate in the negotiation of client mandates, advisor appointments and financing documentation
  • Assist with identification and entry into new markets and sectors, in line with the team’s APAC strategy and the bank’s growth strategy.
  • Develop relationships and build a network of clients, advisors and other banks to support the origination of new business opportunities and deal execution
