JOB DESCRIPTION & SUMMARY
Our Sustainability Reporting and Assurance team provides a range of Assurance services and business advice to a variety of clients from small, fast growing enterprises to large private and ASX-listed companies. Our clients are often well known brands and many have broad international reach. We focus on using the latest technology to reduce the level of manual testing ensuring you’ll focus on the most valuable areas of client service and on enhancing corporate governance and the reliability of our clients’ information.
We’re looking for External Audit Senior Associates to work on client engagements ranging from assurance over both regulatory and voluntary sustainability reporting, through to consulting on complex sustainable reporting and assurance processes and practices.
Use the know-how you’ve gained in external auditing and your keen interest in sustainability strategy and reporting. With new problems to solve, you’ll have plenty of support and opportunities to grow. We work from anywhere, so your strong communication skills and team ethos will get a workout. You’ll learn plenty as you supervise key engagements in a workplace that’s human-led and tech-enabled.
As an expert in External Audit, you’ll help to solve environmental and broader sustainability reporting problems by undertaking the risk assessment of material sustainability topics which are prone to misstatement, and designing and executing innovative assurance approaches that are tech-enabled and also provide valuable insights to our clients. In this role, you’ll also need to either be in progress of have a completed CA or equivalent qualification to:
- Deliver on and support a full range of assurance tasks including the planning, testing, reviewing and reporting stages on large and complex client engagements
- Develop relationships with a range of market-leading clients by delivering outstanding client service
- Coach and mentor junior colleagues and build internal relationships
- Grow your project management, leadership, networking and technical skills, supported by a dedicated coach and Partner
- Work with other teams to collaborate and support integrated audit strategies and methodologies for our clients
It’s time to move forward. And upward.
You want to grow, reach new heights and move up the corporate ladder. We’ll give you a career-boosting role that:
- Puts you at the forefront of the fast-growing and dynamic sustainability reporting space
- Helps you learn and grow with our internal Academy and study support
- Has competitive and transparent salary packages with the opportunity for yearly bonuses and promotions
- Is strong on growth and reward
- Provides strong mentors, meaningful work and plenty of networking opportunities
- Gives you the chance to explore, with overseas secondments and our Together Anywhere policy that lets you work up to 4 weeks from anywhere in Australia
- Helps you prioritise your life outside of work, with lifestyle and wellness stipends up to $500 a year
We’re an inclusive bunch, and we try to make life easier - for our clients, our teams and our communities. If you need reasonable adjustments when applying, just let us know.
