SUMMARY

This role is responsible for providing advice on aviation regulatory matters to ensure successful compliance with various aviation regulatory requirements. In this role you will facilitate surveillance conducted by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) and ensure effective identification of regulatory requirements, risks, and issues.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Regulatory Engagement Lead, the Senior Aviation Regulatory Specialist (Surveillance) is responsible to:

  • Provide subject matter expertise in aviation regulation compliance across the value chain.
  • Develop trusted relationships across the value chain.
  • Build and maintain constructive and effective engagement with the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA).
  • Be the primary point of contact for managing Airservices engagement with CASA on surveillance in coordination with the value chain.
  • Provide insight around improvement opportunities from across the value chain to support the development of the improvement agenda for the Safety, Security & Environment Assurance function.
  • Lead the identification, collection, evaluation, and communication of internal and external safety intelligence that addresses the aviation regulatory performance of Airservices.
  • Lead technical support to internal and external stakeholders to manage aviation safety regulatory compliance matters.
  • Measure and report on the performance of regulatory compliance.
