Tasks
- Gathering requirements from product owners and translating them into tickets to ensure software development is aligned with customer’s needs.
- Participating in sprint planning, retrospective and backlog refinement meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration within the team.
- Writing technical documents, including documentation, epic, feature, bug and task tickets, to provide clear and concise guidance to the team.
- Proposing, designing, estimating, developing, testing and deploying effective and efficient software solutions.
- Enhancing non-functional aspects of software, such as security, maintainability, scalability, reliability, availability and performance.
- Automating DevOps processes to speed up software development, ensure quality, enhance security and reduce human error.
- Administering AWS EKS using CFT and CLI to ensure operability and security.
Requirements
- University degree (BSc) in computer science or software engineering in combination with work experience (7+ years) in Software engineering
- Or university degree (MSc) in combination with work experience (5+ years) in software engineering.
- Profound knowledge and experience (5+ years) in software design.
- Profound knowledge and experience (5+ years) in object-oriented programming.
- Profound knowledge and experience (5+ years) in Bash, Kubernetes, Linux, Python.
- Solid knowledge and experience (3+ years) in AWS EC2, CFT, EKS, RDS, S3.
- Solid knowledge and experience (3+ years) in DevOps with GitLab CI, Ansible.
- Basic knowledge and experience (1+ years) in JavaScript, TypeScript, NodeJS.
- Advanced (C1) written and spoken English. Upper-intermediate (B2) German.
