Responsibilities:
- Developing new business opportunities, both through organic growth and mergers & acquisitions (M&A)
- Managing internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the projects reach the final investment decision
- Building and managing a functional team for the battery energy storage system projects, based in both Germany and Belgium
- Management of projects already under development, including project control (budget, planning, risk), design, procurement (with procurement support), grid connection and approvals
- Ethics, health and safety as well as governance round off the responsibilities: Ensure that project development activities comply with all ENGIE standards and procedures, ensuring a smooth handover of each project to the implementation team
