Senior BI Analyst - Supply Analytics (all genders)

THE ROLE & THE TEAM

As a Senior BI Analyst (all genders) in our Supply Analytics team within Zalando Lounge, you will work alongside the Supply team and leadership towards our vision of acquiring unmatched value-for-money deals that drive Lounge user acquisition, conversion and retention. In this role, you will build on your analytical and statistical skills to create actionable business insights enabling smarter decision-making. You will lead and implement initiatives that develop sustainable reporting solutions, and create fact-based business insights regarding our Supply planning and steering. You will actively partner with cross-functional stakeholders by sharing relevant information and context, based on relevant KPIs you report on, analyse, track and embed in our business landscape. To succeed in this role you should have a natural analytical way of thinking and be able to explain difficult concepts to non-technical users.

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)

• Develop a strong understanding of the business processes, tools and overall data landscape and use it to build, implement and operationalize business reporting with focus on supply, planning and steering capabilities for Zalando Lounge
• Generate hypotheses and test them by performing descriptive, exploratory and quantitative analyses, with the aim of developing impactful business insights, as well as identifying risks and opportunities
• Share with Senior internal stakeholders relevant fact-based business insights you / your team derived based on complex analysis in a visually compelling and comprehensible manner (using Tableau) - develop our collective intelligence
• Accountable for all aspects of data analysis, research, and data visualisation leveraging storytelling techniques, as well as for driving relevant Data & Analytics projects or initiatives.
• Lead the collaboration with relevant technology and data teams across Zalando, ensuring we get the most out of our existing datasets, and that we are optimally enabled to consume viable and relevant data points.
