SENIOR BI DEVELOPER

We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Senior BI Developer to strengthen the capabilities of our Financial Data & Analytics Competency Center. Your team members consist of BI developers and experts in the fields of Data Warehousing and Process Automation and you will be working with all Wärtsilä Finance organizations to deliver world class Financial data related BI solutions with Power BI and Qlik.
Preferred locations for this position are: Helsinki, Turku or Vaasa, Finland
We also offer the possibility of hybrid remote work.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:

• MSc / BSc in a relevant field (Economics, Financial Accounting, Computer Science or equivalent)
• 5+ years of experience developing complex applications with QlikView, Qlik Sense and Power BI
• Good communication skills and fluency in English, both written and spoken
• Pro-active, analytical, systematic, and organised way of working
• Excellent customer service skills and problem-solving capabilities

As a Senior BI Developer you and your colleagues are responsible of development, maintenance and end user support for Wärtsilä’s global Finance & Control BI applications and you work together with your team members to ensure that the underlying data pipeline is optimal and provides correct results on reporting side.
