Job Description

• Position Overview
• As a Senior BIM Coordinator, you will be responsible for leading and managing the BIM process for various projects, ensuring compliance with BIM standards and best practices, and providing technical support and guidance to the project teams. And facilitating effective collaboration between the project stakeholders.
• Key Responsibilities:
• Support in Developing and implementation of BIM execution plans, workflows, protocols, and quality control measures for each project.
• Support in setting up the Common Date Environment and the orientation for the project team.
• Supporting the project’s team in accessing, working, and publishing all the required deliverables throughout the CDE.
• Coordinate and collaborate with project stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and subcontractors, to ensure BIM deliverables are aligned with project requirements and expectations.
• Manage and maintain the BIM models and data, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and integrity throughout the project lifecycle.
• Creation and managing the federated model setup for interdisciplinary review and clash resolution setup.
• Perform clash detection, model coordination, and issue resolution using BIM software and tools.
• Conduct regular BIM coordination meetings to resolve clashes and ensure model accuracy.
• Create and update BIM documentation, such as MIDP, TIDP, QAQC, reports, Clash Progress report, using BIM software and tools.
• Provide BIM training, support, and mentoring to the project teams and other staff members.
• Research and evaluate new BIM technologies, methods, and trends, and provide recommendations for improvement and innovation.
• Minimum Requirements:
• Experience in large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Minimum 6-8 years of experience in BIM coordination or similar role for large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to manage multiple infrastructure projects and deadlines efficiently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, or related field.
• Proficient in BIM software and tools, such as Civil 3D, Navisworks, AutoCAD, BIM 360, ACC, ProjectWise, Revit (medium level) and Dynamo is an added value.
• Knowledge of BIM standards and best practices, such as ISO 19650, PAS 1192, and COBie is an advantage.
• Knowledge of the GIS tools and process.
• Microsoft 365, Power Bi.
