Our client is an established independent investment firm. Their goals are to actively manage differentiated strategies for like-minded investors.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Diploma or undergraduate degree in business, administration, finance, accounting, or related field is a plus
Basic accounting knowledge, familiar with reconciliations
1+ years of investment trade operations or experience in investment management
CFA, CPA, and/or Canadian Securities students encouraged to apply
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Outlook) and intermediate Excel skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently under pressure

Ensuring smooth post-trade operations using leading systems
Supporting equity, fixed income, and other asset settlements across multiple markets
Reconciling cash balances, holdings, and units daily
Collaborating with custodians, portfolio managers, and traders to resolve discrepancies
Handling ad hoc queries and communicating critical portfolio information
Setting up new accounts and products in internal systems and with third-party brokers
Improving post-trade execution processes and minimizing risk
Supporting corporate actions and proxy voting
Providing project, research, and analytics support to portfolio managers
